Freeze-Thaw Stable floor finishes should be able to survive a few short duration freeze-thaw cycles and still remain effective (if it’s a good quality product). Anti-freeze agents, pH adjustments and surfactants all can contribute to its freeze-thaw stability. Note: If floor finishes become frozen, it is important to allow the finish to completely thaw out and return to room temperature before using it. When in doubt, try it on a small area before applying finish to the entire floor.
